We’re excited to introduce powerful new features and key improvements designed to make course creation faster, smarter, and more intuitive than ever. Let’s take a look at what’s new:

New Features:

tapybl AI (Assistant + Video Generator)

• Smart Assistant: Upload documents and create an AI-powered teaching assistant your learners can chat with — instantly.
• Prompt-to-Video Generator: Just enter a topic, and Tapybl AI will generate a complete video lesson including narration, images, and a supporting document. No source material needed!

Analytics

• Get deeper insights into your learning content and users:
• Track learner engagement, performance, and completion trends across courses
• See AI credit usage and storage metrics at a glance
• Spot patterns in video views and interaction rates

Copy Course

    Need to reuse or repurpose a course? Now you can:

• Instantly duplicate any course in your workspace
• Preserve videos, lesson content, structure, and assessments
• Edit and customize your copy without affecting the original

• Revamped Dashboard

The updated dashboard brings:

A cleaner look with quick access to workspace, user and course insights

Real-time data on storage and credit balances

Fast links to common actions like adding users or topping up credits

• Enhanced Multiple-choice AI Question Generator

We’ve improved the AI multiple-choice generator to produce more accurate, grade-appropriate distractors and answers. Just select the difficulty level, click “Generate,” and let the assistant do the thinking.

• Smoother User Experience Across the Platform

Streamlined navigation for faster content creation

Improved load times

AI-feature credit cost estimation. All AI-generated features now include a helpful summary of estimated credit cost displayed with your current credit balance, so you will know approximately how many credits you will be charged when completing an AI action.

Bug Fixes:

• Workspace Color Bug Resolved

Fixed a bug where the learner header colors differed from the workspace settings.

• Video Resolution

Fixed a bug where videos with an aspect ratio of 9:16 were improperly resizing within the tapybl player.

Known Bugs:

• Firefox Browser Issues

Firefox has sporadic issues when accessing the platform, creating courses, and viewing lessons. Please use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari for the best user experience.

• Mobile Compatibility Issues

The course editor is not yet optimized for mobile.

• Notification Delay

Notifications will not appear until a user refreshes the page.

Coming Soon:

• Expanded Lesson Nodes

Course creators will be able to add nodes for learner document upload as well as open-ended responses.

• Microlesson from Prompt

You'll soon be able to generate an entire microlesson just by entering a topic. Using AI, tapybl will take your topic, generate a PDF of lesson content, a video with AI images and videos, and a full learner-ready lesson.
