We’re excited to introduce powerful new features and key improvements designed to make course creation faster, smarter, and more intuitive than ever. Let’s take a look at what’s new:

New Features:

tapybl AI (Microlessons)

• Now you can create full microlessons using just a prompt or video source. Tapybl AI will generate slides, narration and interactive lessons including assessment questions, with no prior content needed. It's the fastest way to bring engaging, personalized learning to life.

Choose Your AI: Gemini or OpenAI

    Need to reuse or repurpose a course? Now you can:

• Admins can now switch between Google's Gemini and OpenAI as their preferred AI engine. Gemini is the default, but you can toggle to OpenAI any time in your workspace settings.

Improvements:

• Edit AI Assistant Knowledge Base

Easily update your assistant's reference material by adding or removing uploaded documents. No need to recreate the assistant from scratch.

• Word-for-Word Narration Option

When generating AI narration from uploaded files, you can now choose an "Exact Narration" mode to ensure the narration matches your source material word-for-word.

• Storyblocks Integration for Stock Video Clips

Enhance your AI-generated videos with built-in access to Storyblocks. Now your course materials can include AI images, stock video clips, or both. Engage your learners with active videos.

Bug Fixes:

• User Deletion Bug Resolved

Fixed a bug where a workspace administrator could remove himself from the workspace.

• Video Transitions

Fixed a bug where audio between merged video sources would start playing before the video loaded in the tapybl player.

Known Bugs:

• Firefox Browser Issues

Firefox has sporadic issues when accessing the platform, creating courses, and viewing lessons. Please use Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge or Safari for the best user experience.

• Mobile Compatibility Issues

The course editor is not yet optimized for mobile.

• Average Score Differs between Dashboard and Analytics Pages

Currently investigating a bug where the average score displayed for your workspace on the dashboard differs from the average shown on the Analytics screen.

• Deleting Files in Library

Looking into a bug where files that are in use within a lesson can be deleted from the workspace. We recommend keeping all files in your library until this issue is resolved, if you're unsure of which are currently in use.

• AI Assistant Editing Bug

In some cases, the knowledge base changes aren't applying to the assistant. A fix is expected shortly. In the meantime, you can continue to create new assistants and select the knowledge base at the time of creation.

Coming Soon:

• Expanded Lesson Nodes

Course creators will be able to add nodes for learner document upload as well as open-ended responses.

• New User Tour

Soon, you’ll get a quick tour when you log in for the first time, showing you the main features of the platform and how to get started creating your own content.
