How to use LTI to integrate tapybl with an LMS

By following the steps on the following pages, you can integrate your tapybl interactive video-based content into an external LMS (learning management system), in this instance Moodle, using LTI (Learning Tools Interoperability) version 1.3.

Remember, to integrate content from tapybl with an external LMS using LTI that content must be published first on tapybl.

When using LTI as an integration mechanism only one lesson can be surfaced up in external LMS, not a complete course.

How to integrate using LTI

1. Login to your tapybl workspace dashboard.

2. Open another browser window and log into your LMS, in this instance Moodle, and open your Course.

3. Press More, then scroll down and press LTI External tools.

1. Press ‘Add tool’ to open the tool settings. Give your Tool a name. You can give your Tool a description, but this is optional.

2. Change the LTI version to LTI 1.3 in the LTI Version option field.

3. You will need to move between your tapybl LTI Tool settings page and your Add new LTI External tool page in Moodle and copy all the URLs from the tapybl LTI Tool into the relevant fields in the Moodle LTI External tool settings page.
